So what is it that move these two teams to kick it up and play like hero’s at this time of the year? Emotion? Tradition? Home Field advantage? While all three of these factors come into play during the thanksgiving season, I cannot document a trend that allows us to bet on a solid and consistent basis.

Facts are that betting football online is a much more difficult road for a professional gambler to take. I am at best able to pick about 75% of my games….

So where does that leave us? I say if your smart you move on to easier fields. Dont get me wrong, I and you can bet football and win in the long run ….. But we can make a ton more money gambling on other sports! In fact I will bet that you can win more in the following two sports.

NBA Basketball, and MLB Baseball. These fields are ripe for the picking. Although betting football online has its excitement and lure. Betting basketball online and betting baseball online is where the money lyes. We will uncover the truths of these statements in articles to follow this one.

Weather you are betting online football, baseball, basketball, the ponies, well you get the point. Whatever flavor of sports you love, and and you have decided to gambling online, you have to learn one thing, and its an important thing. Discipline.

In what sense does discipline matter if you gamble? Too many reading here that might seem like a no brainier. On any given day there are thousands of sports games to bet on, and if you have the fever (and you know who you are if you have the fever) you will be salivating to have a bet placed on every game of the day.

If you do play every game you will loose, I promise. In fact want to bet on it? LOL. Why do you think most that bet football lose. The smartest game in town I have ever seen is the football tickets floating around. You know the ones that you pay a dollar for and win like 45 if you pick 4 teams correct. The bookie that thought this up is genius, you are forced to pick 4 games correct, and you win more if you pick 5 to win. How many of you have ever one these? The odds are so stacked against you its ridiculous. Its only a dollar you say. Yea thats like walking into the dollar store and coming out with 20 items, great! Your still out $20 plus tax, and half the stuff you really did not need.

One game a day if your studying and concentrating. This takes discipline and a bit of wisdom. Wisdom that comes from a professional gambler that has been betting for 25 years.

Your second lesson and the most important one is, if you do not have the discipline to stick to one sport, and at most two games a day (I prefer one for money management) weather it be football, basketball, baseball, just walk away and learn discipline. Its a sickness for some gambling, but learning to pick just a few a day or week will increase your odds of being successful at gambling by %50

Welcome to the first post at Betting Football Online. I will be explaining my Best Footaball betting strategy here. Today though we are going to explore the best way to become a professional gambler/wagerer  ( Is that even a word?)

First up – Bad habits – Hey Im the first guy to love a drink now and then, most that bet on football like to be in the bar and pushing them down as they are making their picks. A Pro is never ever under the influence of the spirits when he makes his picks….. Cant be done dont do it….

Second and most important – Learn money management – Dont worry if you dont have a maestro,,, I will go over money management in a post soon

Third – have lots of love for your friends but under no circumstances believe a hot tip…. In fact I would tend to take a hot tip and bet the exact opposite. Listen up here, most 95% of people loose in betting sports. The 5% that do win dont run around sharing thier bets with the other team (the 95% loosers) . Trust me on this and make this part of your gambling bible.

Forth – Why is Tiger so good at golf? Because he practices his nuts off. I bet more then 8 hours a day. Hey nobody said that gambling was easy… If you want it you need to practice, practice, and save your money by not betting while you practice…
